Wisma Khidmat to become medical facility under SCC

Penampang: The State Government will turn the vacant Wisma Khidmat Complex into a RM100 million private hospital under its government-linked company Sabah Credit Corporation (SCC), Chief Minister Datuk Seri Musa Haji Aman said, Friday.

He said the decision to proceed with an initial plan to convert the complex into a medical facility was made after he discussed with SCC Chairman Teo Chee Kang, General Manager Datuk Vincent Pung and Finance Ministry Permanent Secretary Datuk Yusoff Kassim.

"We feel it is better to carry on with the plan to build a hospital in order to create more health care facilities in the State," he said after a working visit to the SCC in Donggongon, here.
