Give your 'hearts' to the poor and needy  By: Mary Chin  RECESSION or no recession, Food for the Hungry International (FHI) Federation will continue its noble work as usual in line with its motto "Bringing Hope to the Poor".

Chairman of FHI Federation Executive Elders Council (EEC), Dr Akira Horiuchi, 75, from Japan, stressed that the economic downturn would not affect the ongoing programmes of FHI.
